New cheat sheets!
We've had a few requests recently for ways to rip audio straight from a DVD, and then ways to merge the processed audio back into the DVD video.
(Note: These following cheatsheets WILL NOT work for licensed DVD videos that you buy from a store. They should, in most cases, work for DVDs exported from a security DVR or by a PC.)
Exporting Audio from a DVD .VOB File
Exporting Video from a DVD .VOB File (to uncompressed .AVI)
Rejoining Exported Audio to a DVD .VOB File (results in .MPEG file with no transcoding/recompression from original)
In some cases, you'll encounter a .VOB file that was encoded in a way that will not allow you to export using the process outlined in the guides above. We have found a process that will let you export audio from those clips, but no reliable way to export the video. (In cases like these, your best bet would be to use the Screen Recorder to capture the video.)
Exporting Audio Using the DVD Navigator Filter
Good luck, and go catch those bad guys! |
